Elaine, shotbyshooter.com
This woman and I have the same name, but we are not the same person.
She is incredibly beautiful, and a little shocking, and so wonderfully colorful, and has a smile that is moving (even behind all the ornamentation), and those are things I quite admire. I had a conversation with someone one time about the idea of humility. We were talking about how we find it curious that people think there is a need for not thinking well of themselves, or for talking as if they don't think well of themselves. The friend said, if god made us so bright and brilliant and creative and wonderful, it's because he wants us to celebrate it, not hide it. Reminds me of that song I grew up having to sing in Sunday gospel service: This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine... Put it under a bushel? No! I'm gonna let it shine!
Elaine up there does an amazing job at turning her own visage into a colorful, shining, even if unexpected, form of celebration. Amen.

I know HAND MOTIONS for the 'little light' song.
