Diversion

I'm home sick and on my own with my sweet-bird friend Rosie flying about offering me kisses, then flying back to chew on things on my desk--a roll-up sewing kit, Canadian coins, a bowl that had pasta in it twenty minutes ago. My creative energies are focused on not being sick within a day or two. So, all I can say very convincingly right now is the following. Doesn't this look good?

Dobos Torte, a Hungarian desert invented in 1884 by confectioner József C. Dobosin. Dobos Torte is made of alternating layers of chocolate buttercream and bakers cream, topped with a thin layer of caramel.

E3P2S: The Blog

Facing life in genuine openness means realizing that as much as we do and must plan for our futures, we cannot know what will be, and thus we do not yet know how to engage in what has not yet come to us. Accepting this means seeing too that life is rich in possibility. "No one knows what the body can do." Embracing such possibility comes with facing the constraints of the life we've both chosen, and simply have, and seeing them as the rich earth across which we may expand our horizons. My writing here is an attempt to consider such richness, and embolden such possibility.
