Longevity

Had I been born a man, I already know I would have wished to be married to Paul Newman.

He, of course, was married to Joanne Woodward. When asked one time about the long term nature of their marriage, Paul Newman responded that their success was based in "correct amounts of lust and respect." Let me offer the most eloquent, and articulate response I could possibly muster in the face of that.

Paul Newman.... Where to start.... What a MAN! I fell in love when I saw him first on Cat on a hot tinroof.... You took a great picture for your blog - he was a true man-man :)

E3P2S: The Blog

Facing life in genuine openness means realizing that as much as we do and must plan for our futures, we cannot know what will be, and thus we do not yet know how to engage in what has not yet come to us. Accepting this means seeing too that life is rich in possibility. "No one knows what the body can do." Embracing such possibility comes with facing the constraints of the life we've both chosen, and simply have, and seeing them as the rich earth across which we may expand our horizons.
