Driving Along the Turnagain Arm

On our recent trip to Alaska, the ten-year old and I took a drive to Girdwood, a small town in the mountains about an hour south of Anchorage, to visit a close friend for the afternoon. On the way back we stopped in the first pull out North of Girdwood to take some pictures of the tide going out on the Turnagain Arm, the second largest tidal range in the world.

E3P2S: The Blog

Facing life in genuine openness means realizing that as much as we do and must plan for our futures, we cannot know what will be, and thus we do not yet know how to engage in what has not yet come to us. Accepting this means seeing too that life is rich in possibility. "No one knows what the body can do." Embracing such possibility comes with facing the constraints of the life we've both chosen, and simply have, and seeing them as the rich earth across which we may expand our horizons.
